Company Unites Employees from Two Locations on One State-of-the-Art Campus
Commitment to Sustainability and Employee Well-being
Beiersdorf AG, a leading global skincare company, has announced its plans to consolidate employees from two locations onto a single, modern, and sustainable campus in Hamburg, Germany. The move is part of the company's commitment to sustainability and employee well-being.
The new campus, which is scheduled to open in 2025, will accommodate approximately 1,700 employees from Beiersdorf's research and development, production, and administration divisions. It will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including laboratories, production lines, and office spaces designed to foster collaboration and innovation.
"This consolidation is a significant step in our journey to create a more sustainable and employee-centric workplace," said Stefan De Loecker, CEO of Beiersdorf AG. "By bringing our teams together on one campus, we can optimize our operations, reduce our environmental footprint, and provide our employees with a better working environment."
The campus will incorporate sustainable design principles throughout, including energy-efficient lighting, rainwater harvesting, and geothermal heating and cooling systems. It will also feature green spaces and recreational areas to promote employee well-being and a healthy work-life balance.
