Animated GIFs as Mac Wallpapers
How to bring your GIFs to life on your desktop
Introduction
Tired of the same old static wallpaper? Bring some life to your Mac with an animated GIF wallpaper! It's easy to do with a few simple steps.
Convert the GIF to a Video
Since Macs don't support GIFs as wallpapers, you'll need to convert the GIF to a video format. The easiest way to do this is to use a free online tool like Ezgif.com. Simply upload your GIF, select "Convert to MP4" from the drop-down menu, and click "Convert to Video." Once the conversion is complete, download the MP4 video to your Mac.
Set the Video as Your Wallpaper
Now it's time to set the video as your wallpaper. Go to System Preferences > Desktop & Screen Saver > Desktop. Click on the "+" button at the bottom left of the window and select the video you just converted. Adjust the display settings as desired, such as scaling and loop options, and click "Set Desktop Picture."
Enjoy Your Animated Wallpaper!
That's it! Your animated GIF wallpaper is now live on your Mac. Sit back and watch your desktop come to life with every loop of the animation.
